We do not say this lightly, but this feels like the biggest shift in AI coding we have experienced since GPT 3.5 became a reliable coder. Something changed recently, and it is not subtle if you are in the work every day.
We genuinely believe that if your company is not aligned with a tech partner who is actively coding with AI, building AI-powered tools, or aggressively integrating AI into workflows, you risk being left behind. That is not a sales line. It is what the last month has looked like from the inside.
Three Machines, Not Idle
For the past month there have been three machines on the desk, each running a different paid Pro account, powering some exciting new projects. They are not sitting there for show. They are building.
Different repos. Different tasks. Different layers of the system, all moving at the same time. It is a setup that would have looked absurd a couple of years ago and now feels like the obvious way to work.
The Role Changed
The job is not typing lines anymore. It is nudging, clarifying, making architectural calls, and answering the questions the models throw back. And yes, watching that context meter like a hawk.
It is a weird transition. The skills that matter now are judgment and direction, not raw keystrokes, and that takes some getting used to even for people who have been building since 1999.
Speed That Is Actually Real
Instead of grinding through weeks of implementation, projects are moving forward at a pace that would have taken months not long ago. These are real builds and real infrastructure, not experiments and not toy apps.
There is still oversight. There is still judgment. You absolutely cannot "one prompt" your way to a production app, no matter what people claim.
What We Plan To Write About
If you know how to steer it, the leverage is unreal. The speed is real and the output is real, which is a sentence we would have rolled our eyes at not long ago.
We are building faster than we ever have, and we are looking forward to writing more about the process soon. The stack decisions, how models get assigned to specific tasks, where it breaks, what actually works, what is pure hype, and what actually scales. This feels different, and it is only getting started.
